Our Impact
The funds raised by the Auxiliary are crucial for enabling the PARCA Organization to deliver a comprehensive range of vital programs and services. These programs create an extended family atmosphere, fostering self-confidence and skill development to empower clients to achieve their goals and reach their full potential for happiness and independence. PARCA also offers valuable family support services and activities.
PARCA's comprehensive program offerings include:
- Family Support Services: Parents and families receive individualized support and help with planning, problem solving, and navigating service delivery systems to obtain needed services.
- Reach Childcare: Before and after-school childcare for children with and without developmental disabilities. Our smaller student-to-staff ratio allows for more individualized support and a higher level of care for all children.
- Community Living Options: Designed for those who live independently in the community. CLO provides individualized living skills training and support to help clients gain the skills and knowledge necessary for daily independent living.
- Independent Living Skills Training: Residents receive independent living skills training in order to enhance skills such as personal care tasks, budget management, job readiness, socialization skills, and more.
- Shared Living Homes: PARCA provides affordable shared independent living residences. These residences provide much-needed accessible and affordable housing in safe and convenient neighborhoods.
- Licensed Group Homes: For adults who live semi-independently with staff support. There is a staff to client ratio of one to three on weekdays from 3PM-10PM, on-site overnight staff, and 24-hour supervision on weekends.
